Creating artistic images and characters for stories, is a passion that's kept me busy in the film industry for over 20 years!
Originally, I painted backgrounds at several Hollywood studios for Feature & TV Animation.
The creative atmosphere and challenges, ignited a drive that had me honing my craft till the wee hours of the morning.
Eventually, this work ethic opened the doors to becoming a VFX Art Director for live action.
ARTISTICALLY SPEAKING
Believing that film is the best form of storytelling, I've saturated myself in Script Writing classes over the past 7 years and have added
Script Writing/Editing to my repertoire.
In 2015 I launched a creative entity called
LID'S OFF! LLC
It houses my scripts, character prototypes, freelance work and any related art.
It's been fun helping clients jump-start their projects and when the properties are publicized, I'll be sharing that work here!
Currently, I'm seeking freelance work as a Story-Script Editor. I'd love to add my creative abilities to your project and make it happen!

It was so rewarding to have my 1st character creation, Stuart Little, chosen as a winning design by John Calley, CEO at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Initially, many said it would be too difficult to build a realistic furry character for a live-action feature, but Imageworks accomplished this AND was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Effects/Visual Effects!
It’s been a dream working on such well known films as; SPIDER-MAN, SPIDER-MAN 2, CASTAWAY, CONTACT, CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE, CURSED, GODZILLA, PATCH ADAMS, PETER PAN, STUART LITTLE, STUART LITTLE 2, THE FORGOTTEN, THE HAUNTED MANSION, THE POLAR EXPRESS, WHAT LIES BENEATH, WHAT DREAMS MAY COME, THE ABYSS, CON-AIR, ASTRO BOY and several in-house projects.
